While laying the foundation stone of new government school buildings in Kirari assembly constituency, CM Arvind Kejriwal also targeted the opposition parties doing politics over raw colonies. CM said that maximum politics has been done with the people living in Kachchi Colony, but the people of other parties did nothing. He said that the work which was not done in the last 75 years in the raw colonies, we have done in just five years. In five years, we have constructed three thousand roads in Kirari Assembly itself, while two thousand roads will be constructed in the next one year. Before the next assembly elections, we will make all the roads of all the kutcha colonies concrete.
CM Arvind Kejriwal, who came to lay the foundation stone of construction of two new buildings of government school in Pratap Vihar, Rohini Sector 41, said that most of the politics in Delhi has happened with the people living in raw colonies. Before every election, people from other parties used to come and say that vote for us, if we win, we will do a lot for the raw colonies, but no party did anything. Neither this party nor that party did anything.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that today we are building roads, laying sewer pipelines and water pipelines in all the kutcha colonies across Delhi. Five thousand roads are to be built including all the kutcha colonies in Kirari assembly. Out of these five thousand roads, three thousand have been constructed. What was not done in 75 years, we did it in five years. In 75 years, people from other parties have not built even a single road in Kirari Assembly. While we have built three thousand roads in five years, work is going on on the remaining two thousand roads and they will also be built in a year.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that before the next assembly elections, not a single unpaved road will remain in Kirari, all of them will be made concrete. Sewer and water pipelines are running in all these roads. Delhi’s largest sewage pumping station is being built in Kirari. It will be ready in three months. After this, the water filled on both sides of the roads will be cleaned and dirty water will not accumulate anywhere.
